Happy New Year

2015 was a very interesting year, filled with both ups and downs.  The price of bacon soared, the political landscape changed drastically, and rumors of a Guns n Roses reunion tour abounded.  In spite of this turbulent upheaval, YYT pushed forward, providing patrons with the chance to leave their troubles behind and belt out the chorus of Wagon Wheel, sometimes several times a night.

2016 is already giving its predecessor a run for its money.  For all of you East Enders, we're booked at The Local Public House on Torbay Road (formally the Grumpy Stump which was formally Club Commodore I think) for a bunch of dates so get off your arses and drop by.  We're also going to be heading down to the Beau Bois in Marystown for a couple of nights, which is always a great time.  And of course we're back at Darnell's Pub in Paradise for a few scuffs.  We'll be playing at the Cuper's Cove Soiree again this year, it was a great time last year and will be even better this time around.

The calendar isn't filled up yet, and we have a few more dates that we will be announcing in the days to come.  On an unrelated but incredibly awesome note, our fearless leader Chris Hendry will be performing in the upcoming musical Rock of Ages at the Arts and Culture Centre from March 31 to April 3.  Tickets are on sale now, get them while they're hot.  It will be worth every penny just to watch Chris prance around the stage.  Nobody can prance like Chris can prance.  Nobody.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays and may 2016 be the rockingist ever.
